Ohio Right to Life announced their endorsement of Bob Gibbs in the Republican Primary for Ohio’s 7th Congressional District Tuesday morning. Gibbs has consistently voted in favor of legislation that furthers the pro-life cause, including the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, which prevents abortions at and after 20 weeks.
In response to the endorsement, Bob Gibbs said, “I want to thank Ohio Right to Life for this incredible honor. It is important that we protect the lives of the unborn, those who are truly the most vulnerable. Ohio Right to Life is a critical part of the movement to end abortions and I am thankful they recognize my record of supporting pro-life legislation. Every life is precious and deserves the ability to thrive and I will continue to support that effort.”
Mike Gonidakis, on behalf of the Ohio Right to Life PAC, said, “Bob Gibbs continues to be a champion of the pro-life movement and a defender of the unborn. We are grateful for Bob’s support of legislation important to Ohio Right To Life and its members. We are proud to endorse Bob Gibbs for the Republican primary.”
Bob Gibbs is a small business owner and farmer who resides in Holmes County with his wife Jody. Bob currently represents the people of Ohio’s Seventh Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives.
